No, not facial makeup 'Yall. Making up another derby day. Team 'Top Gun' e-mialed about this Saturday and I said I'd put up a post for feedback (they are chompin at thet bit). The 10th or 17th is llikely looking better than this Sat. the 3rd? Because many of the key guy's teams have mentioned other plans this Saturday the 3rd; such as Team Vision (Dawgs vs Stanford football), Dan S., Jim Bain, Os's team is hosting a Tupperwarer party, my team is leaning toward the first good weekend of huge bright Kings on the lower Tillamook rivers with the rain raised rivers there. Let's have some feedback from F III guys.

I can make the 10th. Don't have a crew though. They have other commitments. Seats are open in my boat. I have upped my odds for this trip. We went North to the Kalama river Sat and Mon and had 2 nice days. I am starting to be the Coho egg drifting king.

Out of commission on the 10th.

RT, why don't the Washingtonians come down and show you how to hook those Tilly kings! I rather fill your rivers with boats!LOL Plus its peak time down there. Just a thought. As we all saw there aren't any fish in the Sop.............its blown.

My Lab retriever WhiteDog came home tonite with company... a cute little black Lab gal. I can take the hint and per another thread and post I'm building an Ark! Gonna rain...sorry guys...big time on the 9th and 16th of this month. Can't help it...but an omen is an omen. So my rec is that we get this thing over with...otherwise turn it into photo contest derby. Team TopGun is on the water this Saturday for Flotilla III: Slaughter on the Water, Round 2...bring on all "Coho Piggy Ace" wannabee challengers. Bring it on. :p

Got off the phone with my F III guys just now and 2 of our 4 can't go this Saturday and same for the 10th - so that leaves the 17th for our team. You could be right Gooose about turning it into a photo contest from separate weekends. If there is a consensus for enough to make a Floatilla III on one of the next 3 Saturdays go for it. We'll make it to one on the 17th if that date should come about. Otherwise you Washington guys could think up another opp - like a steelhead F III? See what feedback we get I guess.

From the response I'm see'n it looks like 3 of us are goin to clean up. look for some pics and some brags. I'm huntin Head after the 3rd...they're already in my zipperlip streams. A steelhead flotilla? I'll leave that to the organizers....really wouldn't like it be the Cow.

I think a picture contest is the only way them (cowardly) oregonians can win :p They would go to safeway, buy some big fish,(I'm sure they would have to ask the person behind the counter to make sure it was a silver or king) take a picture of it, post it and say look at the day we had, you should have been there. Excuses are like Arse holes, all oregonions have one

I'm hosed for making it the rest of the month. I've got the 20-30th off at the end of the month for the annual hunting trip, as for the other saturdays I've got to work... This boss would crap himself if I took another saturday off. But, I'm game on the pic posting competition, as I will be fishing mondays and tuesdays until my hunting season comes.. As for those who do make it out to the flotilla good luck and catch some for me!

Ah come on Doug - you're just jealous of our Safeway stores down here in Oregon. They actually have fish in them because the Oregon guys catch their own from the rivers. In Washington the stores are always out of fish, except Indian caught nates, because the fishermen buy them all up after their river skunking.

Just to help you southerners out if your thinking about postin pic's from the Sop....I really shouldn't do this but I'm trying to be a kinder gentler soul these days. Can't keep chums on the Sop so make sure you ask the guy behind the counter for the biggest fish they got that has spots on it. Also have'm check to make sure the spotted fish with white gums are missing that adipose fin. Hey Team(s) Safeway... Fish ON! :p

Oh my...I'm in heaven...finally got that rod! Joe you're great Gonna be bustin them beautiful chrome SOPPY piggies with my new Allstar rod and Curado BSF reel! A special guided trip to special zipperlip steelhead hole is in order for this favor. What no special Hoh River Princess spinner... I'm disappointed! Per my previous comments about my secret lures I'm workin on a new spinner that include such special features as b2tt cheeks, knee pads and pink high heels....should work wonders on them oregonner rivers. Initial research shows that them southern fish chew the cr3p out of it....waassie fish seem to die from emotional response(ever seen a fish laugh?). WhiteDog predicts foot and a half of visibility in lower SOPPY.
